Currently he is a solutions architect at Softserve, conducts internal trainings related to advanced databases, distributed systems ad SQL. Besides software engineering work he is involved in charity initiatives. In spare time fosters 3 beloved children.
Talk: “A Closer Look at Apache Kudu”
Overview of Apache Kudu – a storage engine that enables fast analytics on fast data. In particular, Andriy reviewed reasoning for choosing Kudu, its building blocks and a cluster architecture. In addition, he reviewed example of its real usage on one of the projects, and, of course, lessons learnt.

In particular Andriy covered architecture, data model, read & write operations, etc.
